1. Acceptance of terms
VibeMe is operated by FIRMA VibeMe București [legal name: to be completed], [registration no.: to be completed], Bucharest, Romania (“we”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use VibeMe. By using the service you confirm you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity on your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate anyone.
4. What the service is
VibeMe is an audio-first dating app: you’re discovered by your voice, and your photos stay blurred to others until you choose to reveal them. After a match, you can propose and schedule a voice call (“vibe check”) of up to 5 minutes.
The service is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee you’ll get matches or any particular result.
5. Your content (voice, photos, text)
You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant us a limited license, needed only to operate the service (e.g. storing and playing your voice to other users, displaying your profile).
You are solely responsible for the content you post. Don’t upload content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or isn’t yours.
6. Rules of conduct
You may not use VibeMe for:
- harassment, threats, hate speech or abusive behavior;
- sexually explicit, illegal content, or anything involving minors;
- scams, spam, advertising or commercial solicitation;
- recording or sharing other users’ calls or data without consent;
- any violation of applicable law.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Sessions and payments
A “vibe check” consumes a session. You get 4 free sessions each calendar month; these renew at the start of the month and don’t roll over.
You can buy additional session packs. Purchased sessions don’t expire.
A session is considered used when the call takes place (both participants join), regardless of how long you actually talk (up to 5 minutes).
Prices are shown in RON and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t store your card details.
Digital goods and refunds: sessions are digital content delivered immediately. By purchasing and using them, you agree to immediate performance and acknowledge you lose your legal right of withdrawal for sessions already consumed. Purchased, unused sessions may be refundable under applicable law; contact us at contact@vibeme.love.
8. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that pose a risk to other users.
9. Limitation of liability
VibeMe facilitates connections between users, but we don’t verify identities and aren’t responsible for user behavior. Interact with caution and meet in public places.
To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania, without prejudice to your consumer rights.
